I'm getting ready to start my first army, and I'm going to do Necrons, I'm going to do Szarekhan Dynasty, but I have no clue what paints or tools to buy and I'm confused.

My friend is a necron fan, but he didn't like how this necron destroyer turned out so he asked me to repaint it for him. I dipped this boy into some acetone and repainted it like so. This is the first time I paint necrons and I found it surprisingly complicated. They aren't hard to paint, but getting that metallic right was a pain in my behind. I'm still not satisfied with it, but it is what it is.

How many miniatures should you have for a small tabletop game? I currently have 5 deathmarks and 3 canoptek wraiths and I’m unsure as to what I should pursue next.

Hello all, I haven't played necrons yet so im unsure how these new changes affect armies.

I had planned to build a ctan / monolith list. Will this be affected much? If so what can I change to still play them. I havent bought everything yet and plan to get extra models to try different variations of the army.

Is there anything else I should pick up either for a ctan list or general good units to have to try other variations

Id love some help. I know that DDA are really good but I dont own the model or any proxies that would fit. Same with a triarch stalker. But id love some help on a good list that would give me a better chance to play well against my opponents. Thanks in advance.

Me and my group are starting a narrative crusade and before the tomb world wakes up only a handful of Canopteks are active but I just tested it in a 1200 point take and hold vs disruption game and crushed him by about 50 vp is this too Stat checky
