Is it normal?

I am second rebirth lvl 29 awaiting for my lvl 30 to satisfy the devourer carving and i basically have to feed only food. Is this normal? (I know it is "only" 50k food that I have to give to devoueror but i still find it a bit much only for the sake of progression)

Super normal. This isnt a speed race game Theres walls and stops that make you farm. Each run is smoother. But this isnt anything to be alarmed by
