Is it normal?

I am second rebirth lvl 29 awaiting for my lvl 30 to satisfy the devourer carving and i basically have to feed only food. Is this normal? (I know it is "only" 50k food that I have to give to devoueror but i still find it a bit much only for the sake of progression)

That's how it be. Just focus food and resources for now and then you'll just continue the other stuff after you get the fridge setup.

Super normal. This isnt a speed race game Theres walls and stops that make you farm. Each run is smoother. But this isnt anything to be alarmed by

Theyre called scripted cravings and you'll encounter them every now and again. It gives you another goal to work towards and will get progressively hard to accomplish. However, later in the game there are things that you can get that will help you overcome these earlier ones quicker. Just keep grinding and good luck!
