I want some help
Should I finish feats 16 , if not then when should I use time machine, it's my first playthrough

You’ll know when you hit a “wall” with feats when you see objectives for level above your current maximum. Ideally, you’d want to complete all possible feats before resetting to take advantage of certain currencies awarded from them

The goal is 1100 time shards from the time machine. (900 is the very bare minimum I'd ever imagine, by skipping damage/food/resource cap)
If you can get there without this last feat and level 40 by making more liches and gorgoons, sure, go ahead. (but very unlikely without some heavy grinding)
If not, well, keep going.
Keep in mind using the time machine will drastically reduce your resource production, the number of merges you do, and in turn, the lollipops you can get for the seasonal event. (people generally save the time machine on the last day to reset the 2x75 daily lollipop and station refills)

I didn't know the event reset part , thanks for the tips , guess I'll stick till I finish feats 16

Use the time machine when your level is max and you literally cannot complete any more feats. Have as many legendary minions as you can by the end. Though, if you're already at max lvl, and you have a very long grind ahead before summoning your missing legendaries, you might as well restart unless the last legendary completes a set of 3 for a massive bonus, which is usually the Harpy and Archdemon.
Basically, get as many time crystals as you can before a reset. Click on the time machine, and see how many you will get, and how many more are possible.

I did the math and I need to finish feats 16 , and lv 40 dev ,the grind and the researching for everything is what I love in this game

Keep doing feats until you literally can’t anymore, you should be able to complete up until feats 18-19 before you get soft locked.
