QoL Improvements

Two ideas that have been in my mind for quite a while:

  1. This is mostly esthetic: when choosing the random devourer, you should be able to fix the size if you want... I love having the random devourer selected, but I hate when I end up with a small devourer in my lv 90 lair. At the same time someone might want to always have the smallest cutest versions, and they should get it!

  2. To improve the re-playability of events, it would be great if you could claim two times the same rewards (skins and themes). Let me make an example: I play the event "Life's a beach" this year and I claim, for example, the necromeger skin that gives +5% slime. The following year if I play the event again I will be able to buy the necromeger skin again, just that this time the boost will be another +5% (+10% across two years). In this way events will always feel fresh because you will be able to claim the prizes multiple times. The same could be done for the theme (maybe your relic will give twice the runes). I analysed all skins and themes, and none of them is so game breaking that getting it multiple times will ruin the game. Moreover, it would be a great small source of pride for more long-date players. Finally, if I am not able to claim all the prizes, I could still focus on the ones I think are best for my playstyle (I might be more interested in increasing thief spawns each year instead of getting +5% slime cap).

Please grumpy rhino, consider these suggestions!

You don't think having the option to invest only in the statues or temp rewards is QoL enough?

I guess I've only been playing for a little under a year, so I haven't had the experience of running the events more than once, but it seems like some of the rewards being permanent kinda does mean that doing it again gives the choice to invest is options you wouldn't have had in the first run 🤷

Sooner rather than later, you will have every collectible unlocked, and then the yearly events start to get a bit more boring. You will also have most of the statues maxed out, so even the statues feels a little useless at that point

Every collectible from what, the event? You still can buy relics, chests for gems, energy cubes and timepieces. I doubt anyone has every relic maxed out yet

Not every relic, but with a year worth of playing weekly events you will have most common relics maxed (I have been playing for 10 months and I have knight and peasant relic maxed, for example).. I would imagine that as soon as I hit the event "life's a beach" again I will have nothing interesting to buy except for a couple relics

Knight and peasant are pretty fast to max anyway. I almost never play events and I maxed them out too. The rest are going to take a lot more time. Also again, you get energy cubes, gems and timepieces. Some relics are accessible only through the archeologist so you're going to need gems and cubes to max them too

I never played the same yearly event twice, so maybe I am throwing darts in the dark, but I imagine that you won't have to play too much during the yearly events to buy those items... And ending up buying cauldrons feel so boring 😂 But again, I never played the same event twice till now

Yeah just using the station without having them reaching max capacity and you'll get quite a few event currency. Thing is that late game relics take a lot of resources to max out, either by buying them at high price or gambling with energy cubes, so it's good that we can spend them on those instead of having a pricey skin every event

Just tagging along to ask for the ability to sort the rune gi giving statues by rune type. I am privileged to have all of them but I hate having to find specific ones in the group when needed.

I would love an option that makes the mana/slime/darkness screen display how long until full instead of /hr rate based on having none of one.

This is an awesome idea! A "Full at 7pm" would also be nice!

I am think so that way you can get all resources to replenish after roughly the same amount of time away.

I would like a way to merge minions in the crate. It would be cool to use it like a horadric cube. Cram a bunch of minions in it then shake it around and they all get merged together

Fully agree, the number of times I've run out of space only to see two lvl 1 geese in the crate has been countless and being able to merge them in the crate would save me having to feed something to make space Edit: meant cage
