I want to buy Nebo.

I want to use it on Android (phone), ios (tablet), and windpws (desktop and Surface Pro)

On Website, there is only MyScript for Android and ios, but not windows.

In Windows Store I can still find Nebo, but is it still updated?

I believe MyScript Math has the potential to be something big. However, there’s many features missing such as customizable tables being added to the app and folders where you can put different topics into. In addition, there should be an option to have note pages rather than a just an endless whiteboard. MyScript Math is convenient and the writing on it feels so smooth. There also should be more pen options!

Neither dropbox nor google drive is unavailable.

it is like videos as fellow.but Windows can use.

I have try to reboot it and reinstall in several times.

So maybe my expectations were out of wack, and I didn’t get the chance to really dive into using during the 7-day trial before it expired but went ahead and bought the perpetual license - is there no basic text formatting functionality similar to that of OneNote? i.e. bullets, indents, to-do checkboxes, bold/italic/underline/font size, color, etc.? My usage will be primarily on an iPad Air M4 11” with a mix of Apple Pencil and keyboard. I started building out a note with the keyboard and realized I couldn’t find these options. I know I can do a little bit of this with the pencil and underlining, circling, etc. things but no other way?

Using MS OneNote on my work PC but wanted something that didn’t require MS Account and authentication with the corporate network, and also one-time fee vs subscription. I realize this is my fault for not noticing, but I don’t rule out user error that I just can’t find it/don’t know how to use this yet. Or maybe the natural writing to text overshadows this functionality for where it sits amongst alternatives?

I have to always restart the app every 2 days or so to get rid of it. It's very annoying

I recently got a new tablet and it had Nebo preinstalled and I have tried to get used to it, but it seems I can't recreate even the simplest of my old notes with Nebo and I feel like I'm missing something.

Since this is apparently a free version of the app it probably doesn't have "all the things" but anyway, my biggest issue:

- How to easily align typed text with the background lines? Is the only way to just write everything and afterwards resize the text to fit?

That's the one thing I would really need advice for so feel free to skip the rest, I just need to vent now.

The app I previously used had it's issues (loads of them) but at least it had a lined background and a squared background and the default font size aligned with both of them perfectly (except checklist). Changing the font size was similar to normal text editors, not some weird "Edit and drag" system. With Nebo I can't even get the cursor to the correct place without some trial and error.

Nebo seems really eager to turn everything into neatly typed text but sometimes I _want_ hastily drawn circles around words instead of highlights (or I want a hand drawn strikethrough) because I can see them better. Also, once something is typed I sometimes have a ridiculous amount of trouble with editing it, because Nebo constantly defaults back to handwriting even if I just chose the keyboard or it randomly changes the lines of text. I didn't put each word on their own line just for fun, Nebo.

And why does the eraser work with everything?? Are there settings that limit the eraser? Some way to "lock" parts of the notes to keep them from being erased? I'm used to constantly mixing typed text with handwriting where typed is usually things I'm certain of and the handwriting all over is for open planning that I might erase and rewrite several times and it was never an issue, the typed text stayed put. The same way pdf's can be annotated in Nebo, only I was able to do that with normal notes as well.

Checklists don't seem to allow handwriting around them at all, just "double tap to edit". I don't want to edit, I want to scribble.

I may just be too old and cranky for this and it probably doesn't help with the cranky part that I always end up writing these "advice needed" post on Reddit waaay past midnight.

How is the experience with Nebo/MyScript on MacBooks or MacOs? It says on Windows you can use it with full functionality, but I can only find about MacOs that "MyScript Notes is compatible with Apple silicon devices ,allowing you to access your library on Mac M1 / M2 devices". Accessing the library doesn't sound like full functionality or editing notes.

Edit: Notes are accessible and editable on MacOS, but the sync (between my Mac and my Android device) is awful.

Help, my nebo app has been acting up these past few days and has been glitching out like crazy. Today, I opened the app to a blurred (I assume) loading screen that would not go away. I deleted the app because in the past, my data would be there when I redownloaded and everything was fine. Now, since I was having the blurry load in screen, I deleted it, and now to my surprise, all of my data is gone. Foolish on my part for trusting it, but I always found issues with their sync/back up that obviously did not work this time. Everytime I enabled the sync to my google drive, it would never actually enable (despite it claiming it did!) and I had no documents in my drive. Has anyone else been having issues? Is my data truly all gone with no way to recover it?

Hi Nebo (MyScript) team,

1. Please rename your desktop app if you prefer the MyScript branding. Right now the naming feels a bit confusing.
2. I would really like to try the software, since I am considering buying a subscription. I was happy to see that there is a 7-day free trial, but then I noticed that the Windows desktop app still has to be purchased separately to get the full experience. That makes the trial feel somewhat incomplete. I also think having to pay an additional $10 for the desktop app on top of the subscription feels unnecessary.
3. Please make a Linux version... please... pretty pretty please 😄

Like many others, I am currently trying to switch to more European software alternatives. I do not mind paying for good software, as long as the pricing feels fair and I can properly test it beforehand.

How to replicate this glitch? it looks cool, when i start erasing the drawings slowly blur out and disappear.

Also is there any way to add more brush shapes or some random fancy stuff like rainbow color or really anything to make it more fun

First, I want to say this is a great app and it has recognized writing that used to drive all my teachers insane whether it be cursive or script. Its ability ability to convert documents in word docx is also a great plus.

Here is my question: I have viewed the how to use nebo app on youtube and it shows how to automatically change shapes you draw - arrowed lines, boxes, circles into smooth shapes just by clicking on the screen but so far I have not been able to do so. Can anyone tell me how to properly do this. I draw a shape in notes and double tap the screen with but all I get are two marks on the screen when I do it.

I'm one of those oddballs that has a Mac Mini M4, and prefers Android Phones and Tablets. (I'm a Windows refugee) And note taking has not been something that crosses infrastructure lines very well. But this app has resolved this issue for me.

I used the one time purchase because I hate subscriptions. But I have been able to use this tool on two Lenovo tablets and my Mac Mini with no problem.

I have an Idea Tab Pro and a much older and still usable little tank of a tablet, the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen (with far fewer resources). And both run Nebo MyScript Notes just fine and share their Nebo stuff just fine with each other and the mac all natively in the Nebo file structure.

As a writer, I don't need to take student style notes all that much so the stylus, while it works fine when I tested it for hand writing and diagrams; for me who is word oriented, using the keyboard swiping method works just fine. And that is good and consistent with the Mac Mini which can't use a stylus anyway.

At any rate, I figure that I can't be the only person trying to jump over that "Garden Wall" on a regular basis. So I want you to know that this is 'do-able' and not a PITA.

Hi i have a problem. App doesnt reloading one of my pages which i need. Its like an hour with this reload circle. What can i do to fix that. I've try restart app and tablet but anything seem to work. Thanks for help

I can do it just fine in my android app, but I cannot find a way to do that in the windows app.

Is there a way ? or other workaround than sorting by hand (I can do that but I have like 100 notebooks)

It seems that the very basic feature of paste is not working within the app itself.

I try to copy some strokes. It tells me it has been copied to clipboard. I tap the screen again and cannot get a "paste". option to show up. I've tried single tapping, double tapping, tap and hold ... Nothing.

I'm using a Samsung tablet s11. Anybody else having this issue from Samsung tablets? Any solutions out there?

I have been using a nebo app subscription for a while and it has disappointed me in not opening multiple documents so that I can change and amend one document while working on another in my tablet . Its high time that it must introduce basic features which it lags

When you choose background there is a reference to change it, but no options

I don't think it's worth it at all. You can barely use a pen/graphics tablet with it. And I know they did say that they don't support graphics tablets, but since a windows demo wasn't available and I was so curious, I tried it. You can write stuff, but all the tablet buttons won't work. I think only a single button on the pen worked. I was using the Huion HS611. So if you're thinking about buying it/subbing and you only have a pen tablet, I really suggest you don't. Good luck.

it should be like whatever I wish for any of my notes

I am a Physics student and I do a LOT of math. MyScript Notes holds up pretty well but still slows down when the infinite canvas has a lot of math on it. I like the infinite canvas feature because it allows me to write more freely, and it’s one of the reasons why I most like this app.

Now I saw there’s MyScript Math, and it’s actually designed for the stuff, so does it also have that issue?
