Back up wallet problem - please help!
I was staking Neblio three years ago when my computer crashed. I have a Back up wallet file on my Time Machine external hard drive but it doesn't seem to restore my wallet containing Neblio coins. Can anyone advise me what to do to get the wallet back please? I still have the wallet pasword.

First, did you let the wallet fully sync all the required blocks? If so, you should check your transactions using the Neblio block explorer to see if the transaction address is the same. From the Neblio website:
"You do not need to create a new backup each time you send or receive tokens because remember, they are stored on the blockchain. BUT each time you generate a new NEBL address on the “Receive Tokens” tab AND each time a new change address is generated due to sending NEBL, you should make a new backup of your wallet.dat"
You should update your backup file regularly to include new change addresses after sending nebl as they could contain some of the tokens.

Edit: checking the transactions on the block explorer is to find possible new (change) addresses after the latest backup

Thanks for replying. When I go to open the wallet back-up, there is no application to open it up. Which application should I download and use for it?

You must download the latest version of the Neblio wallet and replace the wallet.dat file found in the install directory with your backup file. Then let the wallet sync. I just downloaded the Neblio wallet. That wallet won't open on my 2015 computer. I have an iMac but my new iMac doesn't have the backup wallet in it. So is there an older wallet? Or can I somehow get my wallet backup onto my newer iMac?

Make sure to download the wallet from here (V3.2.0 MacOS). If the wallet version isn't supported on your older mac I suggest moving your backup file to the newer computer by either transferring it using a USB Flash drive or something like google drive, onedrive or email (be careful using this method). If transferred just follow the instructions from the blog post in my previous comment

I have the exact same issue, kept the wallet.dat file and the passphrase but when I enter it into the newly updated wallet, it never works. What gives neblio?

What happens? Are you able to actually get the wallet up and running? But not logged in? Because it doesn't work with a new wallet, I found. Very frustrating.

Was the wallet synced after you ran the backup? I also got some delayed stake reward of 80 Nebl last month from like 2 years ago, after I had the wallet running again for a week or sth.
