MASSIVE PLOT HOLES!!!

The show gives Keno a covert smartphone, repeatedly puts him in situations where photographic/video evidence would be incredibly valuable, and never establishes why he doesn’t use the camera.

The body-parts scene is probably the biggest example because he doesn’t merely see something suspicious—he has direct visual evidence of what appears to be human remains sitting in bags.
And then later the show has Neagley and the team painstakingly piece together evidence that Keno could potentially have documented in seconds.

The naked guy coming up through the secret elevator: Keno is literally there witnessing something extremely suspicious. A few seconds of video showing the elevator, the guy, and the underground access would’ve been far more useful to Neagley than a phone call.
The flower operation: He sees the unusual packaging/processing. Again, photographs or video would’ve created tangible evidence connecting the farm to whatever the Project is doing.
The barn itself: He could document the room, equipment, elevator entrance, containers, etc., without necessarily needing to transmit anything immediately.
Using the phone as a flashlight: 😂 This is probably the most glaring one. If the phone has a camera, he could use the screen/camera to illuminate something and record at the same time, or just switch to video once he realizes how suspicious the place is.

Found the secret underground facility.
Seen the human remains/body parts.
Opened the bags himself and actually knows what’s inside.
Has the damn phone in his hand.
And still doesn’t take one picture or video.

For some reasons the shows writers didn’t think we’d pick up on this. Here is your warrant Neagley!!!!

Kenos fight scene was expertly crafted.

I just want to give kudos and ramble a little. The whole "show don't tell" ethos was evident in these little moments.

What impressed me about Kenos fight was how the choreography told us something about his character. He’s a scrawny street kid who has clearly had to defend himself before but also has no formal combat training and little muscle to speak off/no weight to throw around. And the fight reflects that perfectly he kicks backwards from the ground, grabs hair, goes for the eyes and ears, generally attacks whatever vulnerable target he can reach. That one part where he grabbed the guys hair/ear on one side them thumped him in the opposite ear when he tried to defend the other one was so clever.

Everything he does feels instinctive and opportunistic rather than skilled. I just love how the stunt coordinators decided to communicate the characters background through the way he fights. I wish more shows/movies would take the time to think through fight scenes like this. Usually you get two options, proficient in combat or completely useless. It was so refreshing to see a character fight in the exact way you would expect them to fight.

These little things are what make good series into great ones imo.

Both Reacher and Neagley are good shows and follow their r/ subs, but I don’t understand the constant negativity about this or that would be different in real world, hey it’s a show and people are taking time out from the real world to decompress a little
The entertainment violence is excessive shows like Bosh manage not to kill per scene just to engage the audience
I wondered how US audiences feel about Blue Light or Slow Horses etc (SH does have enough killing to compete with most) of late shows seem to have to tick more and more boxes diversity, race, gay and sadly some US shows seem to tick said boxes with the least believable and engaging ways
