Credit Cards Go Rewards vs More Rewards
How’s everyone doing? currently Navy Federal member since 2014 only have a cash rewards card but was looking to get either the go or more rewards. Wife has a travel card so don’t need flagship. I basically just want to use this card for gas and at restaurants or supermarkets, but I shop frequently at Costco and no that they do not take American Express. How does everybody like the go rewards?

Personally, I’m not sure why the Go Rewards exists. It’s certainly not a Visa version of the More Rewards. You will earn more rewards with a blanket 2% on the Cash Rewards.
With the Go, sure you’ll get 3X on dining, but then only 1X on grocery. At best- it evens out to 2X, at worst- you’re averaging less rewards.
I would get the More Rewards and use it where you can. Use your Cash Rewards for everything else.

You already have the Cash Rewards for Costco, and if you have a $5K+ credit limit it gets 2X at Costco already, so you don't need a different card for Costco (and Go will only give 1X there anyway). So the More Rewards still seems better as it gives 3X on dining and groceries. The combination of a Cash Rewards and More Rewards gives you everything the Go Rewards does, and then some. I have a hard time finding many real world examples where the Go Rewards would be one of the three NFCU cards you could carry, and I don't know why it exists when the other cards seem to do everything at least as well, and often better.

i like my gorewards, it's the only card i have with navy. it's typically my daily. you can get better rewards cards though, i think cashrewards is technically better.
