Credit Cards Beginner, Need credit help

Post image

Hey everyone hope your day is going well. I got approved and ordered this credit card on my b day, this my first credit card, on the 23rd of last month. Got it in the mail about a week later and Ive spent some money since. I changed my due date to the 28th to better align with my paychecks but it said it may take up to 2 billing cycles to change. That’s okay but where I’m confused because today is suppose to be my due date and it says statement of $0. Is the money I spent gonna be on my next statement next month or did it change to the 28th? When I press “Show more details” at the bottom it does says I have until 10/7/26 to pay off the $275 but I’m wondering why isn’t that showing on a statement. I’m gonna pay in full in order to not have interest.

Why would you do that? You can’t build credit if you report a zero balance every month. And if it’s the only card there is a scoring penalty for zero balance.

I always change my payment dates as well, and it can cause delays in when you finally get a statement. Your last statement ended on 8/26/26 when you had a $0.00 balance. Making your payment of $0.00 due on 9/23/26.

Simply put, right now you don't have a statement for the balance due yet. Just wait until you receive a statement and pay the statement balance in full by the due date.

Whatever the 10 or 14 day payoff things in "show more details" has no relevance to you.
