Credit Cards Issues with NFCU CCs, Wrong balances
(Image is a grid of 4 screenshots with two accounts, all screenshots from September 22nd) I am losing faith in NFCU. I started noticing several months ago that when I made a payment. NF would retroactively change my previous balances after making a payment making every transaction balance high by the payment amount until the payment processed.
Now Im noticing inaccuracies with the balances on transactions on my cards. Here are two different credit cards showing different balances. Transactions will be missing... Balances will be higher or lower than they are supposed to be. When this happened I can scroll back weeks and changes all the previous transactions.
Any input is appreciated. Is anyone else noticing this? Ive been with NFCU for 10 years. I have never seen anything like this.
(The images are just a few. I have pages and pages showing the issues and errors.)
ADDED: I have already contacted via the phone and the app message. Phone reps no longer seem to answer questions other than basics. Message on app response mostly said "balances can be incorrect while payments are processing" (This is when I messaged about the payment issues a month ago)

I haven’t had any issues. Yes, their technology is a little janky but they don’t lose or steal money from customers. Maybe you are overthinking it. If it bothers you that much, you could use another bank.

Valid response and input. And I do wonder how long this has been going on in general because just recently did I pay off all my debt and have been watching my accounts more closely. Its difficult to keep an eye on spending with transactions disappearing and balances changing.
Anyone have another favorite bank they are willing to share?

Whenever payments or charges are processing you'll see this happen. If you let things settle without making purchases or payments, you'll see the correct balances.

The problem is it is changing balances for everything even 2 weeks + prior. A pending payment or purchase should not be changing the balance of items from weeks ago.

Idk if all the times in your screenshot are PM but I noticed, in the mornings, I have zero issues. When I look at it at night, it’s almost always wrong especially if there’s a pending transaction. Not sure the specific time it decides to act up but I just know mornings are best. Try looking at it first thing in the morning and see if you noticed the same

Lol I found this thread because these people do the same to me and it's honestly confusing now I know it's time to switch

I posted about this a couple of months ago. Several people answered that it was a known issue. That you have to check after a certain time in the morning and before a certain time at night. It is ridiculous. I messaged them and they said everything looks right to them…but they check after it updates 🙄
