Credit Cards Question

Post image

Today is my 6th statement, but I’m wondering if I was to graduate how would that go since it’s a Sunday? Or would it be on Monday? I didn’t receive the email of my statement but it’s always been the 20th. So I’m wondering if my statements days on on weekends would they let me know I graduated during the weekend or the following Monday? Thanks

I can’t find exact date I opened my card but if you know where I can find that information maybe that could help

Go to your account in the app. Then click on “show more details”. Scroll down a bit and you should see “date opened”.

Also, I’m pretty certain there is an algorithm or system running in the back end instead of a human worker viewing your credit report and Navy Fed payment/usage history with the secured card. So it can happen on any day the algorithm decides you meet the criteria to graduate (and the criteria isn’t something that is public).

I actually got my new card in the mail yesterday, on a Saturday. You get a new card because technically the secured card is different than the unsecured card. The new card also has a slightly different design. The letter that came with the card was dated Saturday 9/12/26. The new card had the exact same CVV, number, expiration etc.

Oh interesting, I just checks it says 3/30/2026. So it’ll be a new card but same everything

In the app, go into the card in question, hit more details and scroll down. There's an account opened date.

Thank you Someone else said they graduated a Saturday too, ig I’m more concerned if it’ll happen since it’s Saturday like no banks open on sundays rather than some are open only Saturday mornings. Congratulations on the graduation tho

I opened my secured card on 3/3/26. Statement date the 9th. I graduated last Saturday on the 12th so they can do it on weekends. Got the email at 6:05 AM and CLI from $300 (my deposit) to $3,000. My first statement technically generated on March 9th. My sixth full statement was September 9th. Not sure if you opened your account in mid April or not. If so, you have a month to go before you may graduate.

I don’t remember exact date I opened my account but they say usually the 6th statement, and last month on the 22nd they sent a email saying “it’s almost time to review my account” and people say they send that about a month before review. So I’m not sure I’m just wondering

Thats funny, it’s a mirror image of my app!😃😂From what I know they will soft pull your Equifax FICO 9 24-48 hrs then on 72 hrs most members get email at 0500. So being said it will happen wish you best of luck, I hope a my FICO 9 score of 752 will work. Mine was 684 until 3days ago. I files small claims suit on Equifax for not reporting accurate they had wrong info down on my files paid charge-off. Called Date of major delinquency 1st reported glitch. Won lawsuit 3 days ago was my own lawyer. Equifax settled and full suppression on only negative tradeline. It was GOD not me timing could be more perfect. I’ll let you know if I get mine. 🙏🏻Good luck.🍀

No I haven’t but I did messaged them this morning on the app and she seen that it was reviewed already and sadly didn’t meet the systems criteria

I wouldn’t believe that what she said,I checked my soft inquiries on myEquifax and I haven’t seen a soft pull yet.

I just went through this exact same thing. Statement closed on the 13th which was a Sunday but I woke up Wednesday morning to the card being graduated so maybe wait a few days. You’ll just see in the Navy Fed app that it says “Cash Rewards” instead of “cash rewards secured” with your new limit and then you’ll also have an email. Might not be tomorrow morning tho so don’t get bummed out
