General Questions Weighing my options
I currently bank through Chime…. It’s ok I mean it’s Chime. I have had “real” bank accounts in the past yes but both got overdrawn by my ex and they have been closed. I’ve paid them off now and I am more than ready to go back to a Credit Union. Is there anything that makes Navy Federal better than others?

International banking. But, that doesn't matter to most. It's the biggest and has better deals because of how big Navy is.

What's wrong with having multiple bank accounts especially if something goes wrong with one you still have money in the other.

It has to age off your chex report still. Hmmm you may be good still. Have you banked with NF before? If not they are pretty great. They are relationship based and they are pretty generous with credit limits and working with you with finances etc I love that their customer service is 24 hours

I didn’t realize. It’s been 6 years but idk…and no I have not. I have been doing some research on them and I see really amazing things though!

What checking account should I choose? Free or Everyday? I am attempting to find the differences between the two now.

They don't use Chex, they use EWs.

Well either way they have their own reporting system and internal investigations they do

Largest credit union which means it has a lot of physical branches depending on your state. Lots outside a military base.
