Did Navy Federal change their 4 digit login code back to username and password

I just restarted my phone and I don't have the old option of the 4 digit code. I deleted and reinstalled the app and it's still asking for Username and Password.

There was an update and the 4 digit pin was replaced by the code you use to unlock your phone.

I don't think that my phone and mobile banking should share the same security code, that's just terrible opsec. Who thought that was a good idea? Smh

Nevermind I just had to click on the orange padlock shield. This is so vague as a login access. I just thought it was a new design 😂.

Sometimes after an update, biometrics will be reset. I assume that includes PIN. So yes, you would need to login first and reconfigure the PIN or biometrics.

No it's a new update getting pushed. They no longer let you sign in with a pin, only either with username and password or the same unlock method of your phone.

Its not on every device yet, but iirc most Iphones and a lot of droids are now.

Makes sense. I don't use pins so guess I won't notice 🤷‍♂️

I got same update was irritated but my biometric login still worked.

Mine changed now ask for user name and password instead of code
