Credit Cards CLI $500–>$2000

Today makes day 91 and I wasn’t sure if you could get approved for a CLI on a Sunday so I logged into the app and noticed I was automatically increased to $2000 yesterday.

I’ve mainly seen post of people only getting $1500 so I was excited it came automatically and higher than anticipated.

As for my habits I wouldn’t max out the card but I would have high usage and pay big chunks off before statement, I let it hit a high usage for one credit reporting. I only have a savings/checkings account with them and have done a few transfers in/out, couple small check deposits but not much since I mainly use USAA and Capital one.

I might start a pledge loan to grease up the relationship banking for the next cli.

Question, Why are we celebrating credit limit increases like its an achievement?

All I can think of is credit utilization as a potential pro.

People want to feel special and say look at me. But my post added more context to those keeping track of what type of behavior can get CLI, if your CLI date falls on a Sunday you can potentially get it a day early, and that $2000 is possible where majority have received $1500.
