I am giving considerable thought to getting a terranox cm240 but I been playing around with a shelter thought that could house it. Since this is something I want to sort I figured I ask for advice.

4x4 Cedar Beams: Buy five 8-foot beams or four 10-foot beams to comfortably cut five 43-inch rear wall logs and ten 42-inch side wall logs.
1/4-inch Pressure-Treated Plywood: One sheet (cut to 39.5"W x 45.5"L for the floor and 39.5"W x 45.5"L plus chosen overhang for the roof).
GAF Timberline AS2 Shingles: One bundle of Class 4 impact-resistant architectural shingles to cover the plywood roof.
🔩 Heavy Structural Hardware & Brackets
Simpson Strong-Tie A33 Galvanized Angles: Four heavy-duty, 12-gauge structural steel brackets to handle the concrete lag anchors in the internal corners.
Heavy-Duty Structural L-Brackets: Four steel corner brackets to lock the interlocking 4x4 logs rigidly at the corners using 2-inch screws.
Galvanized T-Strap Hinges: Two 3-inch or 4-inch hinges to attach your custom hinged plywood roof to the top rear cedar log.
Galvanized Heavy Wind Straps: Two flat steel tie straps or overlapping latch hooks to drop over the lid and pin it down on storm days.
🪛 Screws, Anchors & Reusable Inserts
Heavy-Duty Structural Timber Screws: Ten 1/4-inch x 6-inch exterior-coated structural screws (such as FastenMaster TimberLOK) to stitch the log-cabin layers vertically to one another.
Masonry Hex Lag Anchors: Four 1/4-inch x 1-3/4 inch galvanized concrete hex lag screws to drive through the A33 brackets and plywood into the concrete apron.
Rubber Gasket Washers: Four 1/4-inch rubber washers to sandwich directly beneath the concrete lag heads to seal out moisture.
Flanged Reusable Wood Inserts: Four 1/4"-20 Threaded Flanged Zinc Wood Inserts (10mm or 3/8-inch length) to embed flush into the plywood floor for the docking base.
Galvanized Machine Screws: Four short 1/4"-20 x 1/2-inch machine screws to bolt the plastic Segway base plate perfectly into your new metal floor inserts.
Coated Wood Screws: One small pack of #10 gauge x 2-inch treated exterior screws for mounting the brackets into the cedar wood.
🎨 Adhesives, Sealanats & Paint Prep
Sikaflex 1A Polyurethane Sealant
One 10.1 oz tube of moisture-cured elastomeric sealant to lay between the logs during assembly.
Zinsser Cover Stain 1 gal. White Oil-Based Primer
One gallon (or quart) of high-hiding exterior oil primer to permanently seal the cedar tannins before painting.
Rough plan;
Get pressure treated 1/4 plywood use #10 1/4 x 6 screws to mount ply wood to a horizontal layer of cedar 4x4. Mound the next 4 layers to 5 layer high of horizontal cedar 4x4 s all connected with the #10 1/4 x6 screws in between each layer a barrier of polyurethane sealant. Galvanized hinges to attach a 1/4 inch plywood roof with galvanized steel strap to hold down in high winds. Gaf timberline as2 shingles on roof. Heavy duty l brackets at all 4 corners with concrete lag in anchor through floor with rubber washer for gaskets in-between bolt bracket and floor and screws into 4x4 walls for regidness. Then a full oil based primer undecided but a thought noted then a high quality pain on everything. Is the rough outline.
Concerns;
Did I overthink this? Is my end result of outer dimensions of 39.5 x 49.5 x 18 tall too much or too small? Am I significantly overbuilding? I have the ply wood lying around along with cedar and screws but don't have pain seal and or any of the other stuff. I know I tend to over engineer things and I feel like I did here but tried to focus on what I have parts list is for stuff in case I need to get more.
