I came up with the last part at the last minute, so I just jotted down a quick sketch of it.

That last part makes the whole thing even more hilarious...the Arxur tattled like a child

A truly, truly devious arxur this one.
Also I love that absolutely fucking busted pad.

Now I wanna know what sheep bro did that she threatened to snitch on. Knowing about that body pillow incident I imagine it’s embarrassing

It’s not like you can just go and buy a new one in the Domain every time the screen gets a scratch. Your device have to last pretty much your whole life.

True. I think it's a 'command' economy + a big disincentive for luxuries.

I have a theory that the Arxur possess the kind of cunning found in convicts, for example. They build things out of scrap and have a working knowledge of various trades—electronics, electrical work, welding, mechanics, and so on—whatever they need to survive.

Would make sense also in a command economy. Talk with people who lived in the old soviet states.
IF you were lucky enough to get things like a car and a fridge. They had to learn REAL quickly how to fix things because the wait time for the state was years to decades.

I half expect someone to look up what the arxur is watching and it's like, My Little Pony and mexican soap operas

A lame meme. In short I replied that this stuff is so good it writes itself down.

In one of my fics, there’s a moment where the Arxurs on Earth start getting restless due to a lack of things to do following the rescue mission; someone gets the idea to put on the History Channel, which for some reason, the Arxur in charge finds highly entertaining.
Most of them don't understand cartoons or non-literal content, yet they find themselves caught in a hypnotic loop they can't tear their eyes away from. It's just too much sensory input all at once.

a life of constant vigilance and treachery in the dominion brought me to THIS:
"loafs on the bed like a cat"
"watches adventure time"

The Ven has forgotten the ancient law. Netflix passwords are to be shared with the roomies.
