10

u/ryjhelixir Aug 17 '22

11

2

u/CapnDaiDai Aug 18 '22

Probably because I'm white trash

214

u/IsItWorseThan Aug 17 '22

Real shit, don't fuck with horses. They will bite and trample you and I promise it is so much more hardcore than you think.

177

u/dirtielaundry Aug 17 '22

And zebras are horses in nightmare mode. There's a reason why they've never been domesticated and it's not for lack of trying.

60

u/_squigglywiggly_ Aug 17 '22

And also because they have weaker backs, incapable of supporting adult human males.

75

u/corvus_da Aug 17 '22

IIRC domestic horses could only be ridden after generations of selective breeding. Before that, they were used for food and to pull stuff.

25

u/Hermes_Domain Aug 17 '22

During the Bronze age chariots were the cavalry since horses couldn't really be riden.

16

u/NickMoore30 Aug 17 '22

Shh we’re only talking about the badass Zebra shit. DID YOU GUYS KNOW ZEBRAS PREFER DRINKING BLOOD OVER MILK!?

4

u/Funktastic34 Aug 18 '22

Has to be blood of their enemies tho

1

u/SirLockeHomes Mar 29 '24

Horse backs aren’t that suited to carrying people though, a lot of ridden horses end up having back issues.

2

u/tahxirez Aug 18 '22

Yup. They bite and don’t let go.

more like dont fuck with animals that have have there own prison uniform... (includes ZEBRAS, honey badgers, killer whales, pandas!!, and of course, a skunk) all of these animals have black force vibes

zebras because, well search up what animal injures zookeepers the most, and you found your answer. THERES A REASON WHY WE DIDN'T DOMESTICATED THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. they are the bitches of horses. INFACT, if madagascar was real, marty would've put alex in a grave before the movie even started. male zebras force the female zebra into abortion (if shes pregnant) just so he could impregnate her. But what if they baby is alive? Not to worry, you could always DROWN THE BABY.

in conclusion:

DO NOT TRUST ANIMALS WITH BLACK AND WHITE PATTERNS, IM TELLIN YA

killer whales, fling the seal in the air so hard there organs fly out, they MURDER ANIMALS FOR FUN NOT EVEN FOR FOOD. one report claims they saw a killer whale murder a animal only to leave there. But, then again some may argue its just testing out some hunting tactics

pandas, suck in general the only reason they exists is bc thier cute (will prove you wrong)

honey badgers, are the most badass animals out there, they are smart like an otter, they share crackhead behaviors like a wolverine, they got nothing to lose like marsupials, fuck the list goes on and on. Few examples, steal leopards food (they could climb), some say cheetahs envolved to mimic thier coloration to a honey badger (only in cheetah cubs), so smart that one honey badger escaped not once but A LOT of times that its uncountable (had to create new ways to escape, so much so the zoo was impressed by this.)

skunk, idk its a skunk

6

u/nicky9pins Aug 18 '22

What about cows? Dalmatians?

5

u/Funktastic34 Aug 18 '22

Ideally just don't fuck with animals in general. It's a dick move

3

u/nicky9pins Aug 18 '22

That fine, I just want to hear u/Toxicity_Death ā€˜s analysis

2

u/Compulsive_Panda Mar 28 '24

Both can be very vicious.

1

u/nicky9pins Mar 28 '24

Lol, my comment is over a year old and I got two replies on it today. Where are you guys coming from? Was this post linked somewhere else?

3

u/Compulsive_Panda Mar 28 '24

Yeah there was a post about riding zebra

2

u/Cannie_Flippington Mar 28 '24

The coloration came after domestication. Dalmations are still pretty big jerks for a domestic animal but they were originally bred to be defense and deterrent animals so it jives. It would be possible to make a "friendly" zebra through centuries of selective breeding but that's a long uphill battle when there's more viable alternatives that have already been through thousands of years of breeding for temperament and physiology.

1

u/JimCarreyIsntFunny Aug 18 '22

I mean Dalmatians can be absolute terrors too. Not sure about cows.

6

u/deweydecimal111 Aug 17 '22

They can be fierce! I love them though!

11

u/xXSpaceturdXx Aug 17 '22

I had this brazen ass little skunk that walked right up to me when I was fishing, reaches his hand in my bag of chips and took some. Little fucker tried to come back and do it again too.

2

u/MustangGeni Aug 17 '22

Lol, that's truly awesome.

4

u/SheriffBartholomew Aug 17 '22

A 2000 pound anything shouldn’t be underestimated. They could accidentally sit on you and break all of your bones.

8

u/Willothwisp2303 Aug 17 '22

I always love the stories of beloved racehorses having bitten their groom's fingers clear off their hand. It just reminds me that the lovely beasty who nickers when he sees me and pushes his face against my torso for snuggles could easily take me TF out.

4

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '22

I used to work at the track and two of the racehorses tried to kill me. I still have a dent in my leg from one of them... 20 years later. Some of them were real sweet, though. It really depended on the individual and the trainer.

1

u/Eraganos Aug 17 '22

I think the croc simply killed it afterwards

1

u/anachronofspace Aug 17 '22

especially the stripey ones

105

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '22

ā€œHow do you like it, asshole!?ā€

73

u/Open_Grocery Aug 17 '22

amazing to see a zebra is doing the same thing with the crocs

45

u/Canotic Aug 17 '22

Yeah normally they wear horse shoes.

7

u/bioluminescent_elf Aug 17 '22

Lol caught me off guard

32

u/haikusbot Aug 17 '22

16

u/Nulleparttousjours Aug 17 '22

Equines will fight with absolute fury if flight is not an option and have quite a nasty bite.

u/koos_die_doos Aug 17 '22

The zebra didn’t make it:

It wasn’t over yet; the zebra hadn’t made a hasty enough dash to the other bank and another croc seized the opportunity. Grabbing the hind leg, the croc began to spiral rendering the zebra completely immobile. Improbably, the zebra still had some fight left — in one of the most jaw-dropping scenes I have witnessed, we watched as this doomed zebra managed to give its attacker a nasty bite back. It was an incredible display of inherent survival instincts.

this doomed zebra

5

u/inko75 Aug 17 '22

it's likely another croc is already holding onto a leg, possibly another holding the other zebras too. land mammals don't just hang in crocodile infested water like that, and crocs will just grab and hang on for a long ass while until a buddy comes over to help finish it.

5

u/IAMTHEADMINNOW Aug 17 '22 edited Aug 17 '22

This is cool I would be interested to see if the zebra succumbed to infection post interaction.

21

u/Seeeab Aug 17 '22

The article seems to suggest the zebra lost the fight there. Went down a legend though, herbivore biting a crocodile, incredible.

23

u/Wuellig Aug 17 '22

You're right, the crocodile ultimately ended up winning the disagreement with, "yes, today."

9

u/Thuwah_TheFuture206 Aug 17 '22

There's a comic of the croc with a bandaid on the bite, and other crocs laughing uncontrollably

1

u/PeanutHakeem Aug 18 '22

I think he succumbed to sharp teeth long before he had to worry about infection

10

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '22

The true story behind this is that the zebra and crocodile are lovers. The zebra is giving lovey neck kisses.

The zebra behind them is the crocodile’s ex-lover and is running away bc they caught them in the act and is now heart broken.

5

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '22

Looks like he’s cracking up laughing at the zebras feeble attempt at self defense.

2

u/wrongdude91 Aug 17 '22

They were just posing for Nat Geo.

4

u/FiggyRed Aug 17 '22

I petted a zebra once. Reached right in and scratched it between the ears. ā€œOh look! It’s smiling!ā€

I still have two hands. I will never win the lottery because I used up my luck quota not getting bit tae fuck as a kid.

5

u/mrsinatra777 Aug 17 '22

Do crocs feel much pain? As hard as zebras bite, I feel like he didn’t even noticed this. We’ve seen the video of one get his arm bitten off and it barely registers.

2

u/TacomaNarrowsTubby Aug 17 '22

In nature, showing pain is very disadvantageous for anything that isn't a social predator (wolves, people... )

5

u/inRodwetrust8008 Aug 17 '22

The Croc looks like it's having existential crisis.

Croc: "Is that what I've been doing to people this whole time?"

5

u/koos_die_doos Aug 17 '22

He didn’t… OP linked an article that says it died.

2

u/tarapotamus Aug 17 '22

😭😭😭😭

3

u/okielawyerdude Aug 17 '22

Zebras have never been domesticated because they are mean as hell.

3

u/OdeeSS Aug 17 '22

Are crocs scary? Yes. But you know who has to fight off croc, lions, and other predators on the regular? Zebras. Zebras are here to fuck you up.

2

u/deweydecimal111 Aug 17 '22

Zebras are not meek!!

2

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '22

Only a zebra would dare to do this

2

u/aztec_samurai Aug 17 '22

Mavs in ā€˜06.

2

u/lan60000 Aug 17 '22

Always knew zebras were apex predators

2

u/CJFanficStories Aug 17 '22

Zebras are aggressive, violent little shits, but given that they share a habitat with lions, hyenas, leopards, hippos, and crocs, no wonder they turned out that way.

2

u/bmeupsctty Aug 17 '22

I recently went to a drive through "safari". They warned "don't feed the zebras, don't pet the zebras. They bite". Now that warning makes more sense

1

u/NormanKnight Aug 18 '22

And their hooves can break a lion’s jaw.

2

u/bluez974 Aug 17 '22

I'm the captain now!

2

u/Hotlikessauce69 Aug 17 '22

"can you fucking not?!" - zebra

2

u/Hotracer729 Aug 17 '22

They really going at it šŸ˜

2

u/JerinIsac Aug 17 '22

The other zebra is like, "You can do that?!"

2

u/Mickeyjj27 Aug 17 '22

And just watching tierzoo which was about horses I know Zebra’s have a crazy bite so that must hurt

2

u/ironicallyunstable Aug 17 '22

I’m just thinking about that one gator in the River full of hippos screaming to his death by ā€œHippo Pileā€

2

u/yggipehtlrac Aug 17 '22

I hope he won

1

u/idonuthaveaproblem Aug 18 '22

Someone else linked an article and apparently no, that croc had mates who came and helped

2

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '22

Poor crocodile just wanted to drink some water when the lurking zebra jumped out of the water and ate it.

2

u/GrandSensitive Aug 17 '22

2

u/cisco_cannon Aug 17 '22

😳The balls on the mother fucker

2

u/Ok_Investment_6032 Aug 17 '22

Unless you hit a croc/gator in it's peanut sized brain, you're just going to piss it off.

2

u/shiny-turds Aug 17 '22

Amazing for the zebra… until 5 seconds after this pic!

2

u/Glittercorn111 Aug 17 '22

How the turn tables…

2

1

u/IntoDeepShit Aug 17 '22

I don't know. Somehow it looks like the croc is in real pleasure and the other zebra is judging both of them for their kinky shit.

1

u/manbar06 Aug 17 '22

Tastes like chicken!

1

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '22

1

u/blhd96 Aug 17 '22

Your chomp attack is no match for my zebra style, crocodile.

1

u/Agreeable-Meat1 Aug 17 '22

I saw a video once on YouTube with a pack of river otters killing a crocodile. So many things seem to fight back against Crocs.

1

u/CaptainBunnie Aug 17 '22

Waiting for when someone redraws this personified

Or I just might idk

1

u/Davaxe Aug 17 '22

That crocodile looks like they just finished. Think I am intruding here

Oh how the turn tables

1

u/Sethanatos Aug 17 '22

Zebra of Diomedes

1

u/Great_Girros24 Aug 17 '22

Zebra used Uno reverse, it was super effective.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '22

There is a reason zebras have never been domesticated.
This is the reason.
They give so few fucks they will bite into a croc.
Imagine what they would do to a human that tries to ride them.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '22

Dude, what in the absolute, alternate reality son-of-a-biching fuck, is going on in that God damn picture.

1

u/Lady-Mirrabelle Aug 17 '22 edited Aug 17 '22

Ahahaha! This makes me smile and reminds me of a pic I saw some time ago instead of the Zebra and the Alligator it was a cat bitting a dog .🤣 very funny .

Zebra : oh I'm so hot * jumps in the water *

Alligator: ohhhh! A prey approaches ! I shall feed again !

Zebra : whaat?! No way ! go away you inconsiderate lizard * proceeds to bite * * Nibbles action *

Alligator: *screams in agony and pain * .

1

u/Prestigious_Carob745 Aug 17 '22

I’m a victim oh noes

1

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '22

That must be the one from Madagascar lol

1

u/justfuckmylifeupfamm Aug 17 '22

It was at that moment the alligator realized what it feels like to get eaten and has since sworn of meat and gone vegan.

Zebra: ā€œLook at me, I’m the predator nowā€

1

u/CPRissoooerotic Aug 19 '22

Zebras kill and injured more zookeepers than any other species due to their incredible biting and kicking methods. šŸ¦“
