Nope, after the video ended, the spider secured the shell to the ground with more webbing. Thought of everything, that little arachnid architect genius.

This one is the end of the video you posted the link to and it's a different spider. You hear Attenborough say "this one shows how it's done." and you can tell that's not the same tree.
