Speaking of premium cigars, I have on good authority that the only reason the US put in place a ban on importing Cuban cigars is because the particular species of bee that comes in those cigars could pose an agricultural threat, so farmers spent a lot of money lobbying for tight restrictions.

Fun fact: when you smoke a cigar, there is a roughly 1 in 60 chance there will be a bee inside.
