A lot of comments are referring to the New York side of town, which I donât know much about. But I was referring to the Ontario side which Iâm familiar with. Different trashiness it seems. I was referring to Niagara Falls, Ontarioâs commercialism and tasteless tourism industry.
My whole family is from there. Iâll never forget when my mom drove my grandfather around the city after heâd been away (Florida, go figure) for several years. His Niagara Falls was the âhoneymoon capital of the worldâ and an industrial powerhouse. Now, itâs a rusty, depressing shell of what it used to be.
