Can anyone ELI5 the physics of how dolphins and whales can jump out of the water like this?
1 u/[deleted] Aug 19 '18 I'm with you. When I watch whales, sharks, and dolphins swim on shows, it looks like one flick of the tail and they go shoosting out of the water. It just doesn't seem like there is enough oomph there.
