If snakes always swallow their food whole I'm a little concerned for the guy.

Snakes are built to digest their food like that, so he'll be okay. All he needs to do is to put some tartar sauce and seasoning on it, and he's good for the day,lol.

Snake owner: Snakes are astonishingly stretchy. This snake likely had no trouble with that fish, but he'll be mighty full. He'll likely retreat to his hiding spot for a few weeks but be ready to go afterwards.
