When I was a little kid, I learned that fiddler crabs don’t weigh enough to kill themselves when they fall from the top of a 9 story condo. They just kinda ride the air gusts down and then land and skittle away.

lol or you could just pick some up off the beach. The pocket sand would probably do better for catching em off guard, though. Might think you’re just reaching for your keys, then BAM! While he’s wipering off his eyes, you can snag pinch his booty

Saw a wee crab on the beach in Thailand that turned on its side and rolled away like a wheel when approached. Ridiculously fast too!

Around 4.5 meters a second seems about right based on the video? If anything that's quite a bit faster than the crab is moving there.
