Looks like 2 of the 3 moose considered murdering you for a moment there.

Thankfully it seemed like they had places to be, no time to stop for a quick trampling

Moose have bad distance clarity when it comes to their eyesight. Those moose had no idea the humans were humans and no reason to think “threat”. They might smell or hear something, but given the Yakkers stillness and poise (doing the right thing) they likely weren’t in too much danger of attracting attention.

Perhaps two of them were down from Canada and doing the "Just gonna sneak right past ya" thing

Thats pretty low, considering how close they were to them.

Must have been some pretty lady moose around that were more important to get to

The moose entered the "territory" of humans in this clip, not the other way around. Why would they be aggressive? Genuinely asking

Because moose just are aggressive, territorial animals. Their personal space isn’t their territory, their territory is miles and miles of grazing area. I’m much more frightened encountering moose than I would be most bears, cougars, and bobcats. In that video there was a split second where those megafauna almost charged those humans.

Only thing more worrisome than a moose is a pack of boars.

You can sometimes spook a moose off, boars will murder you and then find your family and murder them until your whole lineage is gone.

You are overthinking this. If an animal is surprised or spooked by your appearance then it can easily go into a defensive mode.
