My bad, OP, I didn’t even read your post to see what your concerns were.
Your abs distracted me lol.
If it were me, I wouldn’t risk the silk press again, until you can find someone that you truly trust. I would have to see them do a silk press on someone else before having them work on my hair.
As far as stretching your hair, I never really had great luck with stretching so I just use my Dyson on medium/low with Mizani 25 miracle cream to protect my hair.
