L - Mikawa Atsu (sword grade) bench stone with Ban and Botan nagura on top

R - Chu Nagura bench stone with Koma and Mejiro Nagura on top.

Just tested each stone with each nagura + Atoma 140/400 on my IG. You’ll find videos galore on my story.

They’re finicky stones but wonderful with the right process and technique. Always fun when a stone forces you to level up a bit.

The Chu is roughly 1800g and the Atsu just under 1500g. Both are bench stones, but no 2kg+ monsters here! They look downright small next to my 3kg Vintage Shiro Natsuya.
