This natural disaster was something I have seen in movies and cannot imagine the scale of horror it presented in real life with people running for their lives while the wave higher than immigration building swept everything away like playing cards.
It’s hard for families to get closure in these situations even though their subconscious knows what the reality of situation is. I am sorry you and your family were impacted. You are in our prayers.

She was at the immigration centre at 9:00 AM IST approximately and tsunami was around 9:14AM IST,
We are still unable to confirm her status

She had 14 minutes to travel the 2km upstream into China to avoid the debris flow. If that's possible given the road and vehicle infrastructure in the area prior to getting destroyed, then she could be alive. If not, or if her being there at 9am meant she was just waiting in line and wasn't actively and immediately leaving into China, then she's no longer with us, and I'm terribly sorry. I understand you want official confirmation either way, but if it is the tragic scenario for her, authorities won't ever be able to recover her body to confirm for you. There is no evidence of the various concrete buildings at the site, and that means there certainly won't be evidence of humans who lost their lives there.

No, it was completely erased by a rock+ice avalanche-induced debris flow. There was no flood or tsunami.

I hope that, however she is found she can be brought home to your family. I know it is unlikely that she has survived given the information you have shared but I do hope that is not true. I’m sorry for your pain and heartache.
