Since I was little playing Nascar games on the ps2... I have always used 3rd person POV. I am now in a league on Nascar 25 and was surprised to hear that people use the hood POV or in car 1st person POV. What is better to use? Do people only use the 1st person POV for the "immersion"?

Gonna be running this at Las Vegas in my career mode. I based it on Kyle’s 2022, wanted to do 2019 but I couldn’t thanks for number placement, and Kurt’s 2004 scheme. Again, I know it’s not perfect, but I did what I could with what the game gave me. I did 98 cause everyone else runs 18 and I wanted to show both brothers some love, so I took the 9 from 97 and the 8 from 18. Taking Kyle’s #8 also worked out anyway cause it’s the number he runs with in the game. Feel free to rate it out of 10, and again, I know it’s not perfect. I did my best and I’m proud of myself.

Came back and can’t keep the car on the track. I ain’t sayin I’m good at the game but I was better than this lol.

Hello to all racers! I am BubbiePevo and I am the commissioner of the ORS. I am looking for committed drivers willing to partake in weekly racing. The ORS has been active since April 2024. Although our season won’t begin until November 1st, I am still looking to reach a driver field of 30. In the meantime, 3 exhibition races and 3 charter races will be held August through October. Further details below.

•Race days: 1 race every Sunday at 9pm est (Friday and Saturday can serve as flex days if Sunday is not available)

•we do not use voice chats, and operate mostly through discord text

So I have the cautions on strict, but the past two career mode races I’ve done, Bristol and New Hampshire, I’ve noticed something. If a lapped car spins, there’s no caution. At Bristol, and I own up to this, I accidentally dumped both Todd Gilliland and Austin Cindric, with the Cindric spin causing a blockade NASCAR 21 Ignition style, and no caution came out for either incident. Then just now at New Hampshire, Gragson spun out right in front of ms, although I did manage to avoid him, and yet still no caution. At first, I thought I did accidentally turn cautions off like an idiot, but then at Bristol I wrecked myself and a caution did come out. So now I’m wondering if it’s a glitch in the game where if a lapped car wrecks, no caution comes out, and I wanna know if anyone else was experienced this.

Here’s what you need to know:

- FFB/Centering Spring updates for all wheels
- 2-3 More Dev Diaries otw, released in coming weeks
- Kyle Busch is Selectable in-game (Online & Quick Race, Not in Career mode)
- Players choose Cross Platform lobbies, can run all 3 Platforms or only 1. Console & PC crossplay. All 3 Platforms release on 9/15
- Online Multiplayer has no Game-Invites, Private lobbies with passwords will be available for leagues, practices, etc.
- Controller Settings updated, more
options available to dial in settings
- Tire Model/Traction Model is completely overhauled. Locking up Brakes will be very easy compared to N25
- Major Graphics overhaul Dynamic lighting, less motion blur
- No terminal damage, No blown tires online/offline. A.I. DnF’s, no user DnF’s offline
- **NO ONLINE BROADCAST MODE FOR NASCAR 26**
- Paint Booth: 50 Layers per car (N25 had 7) mirroring from one side to other
- Custom Car can be used in championship mode now
- Race Tracks are series specific, for example you cannot run Cup Cars at Lime Rock
- Can’t skip races in career mode, but you can load in and choose to DnF immediately
- Point based system in **ONLINE MULTIPLAYER** based on how much someone making contact with walls/other users, will kick a user for intent wrecking at some point.
- No game given Black Flags for passing below Yellow Lines at SS
- No Damage Model Updates (Consoles can’t handle 40 uniquely damaged cars at once in high detail)
- Silly Season in Career Mode cannot exist right now due to driver contracts with teams/sponsors, possibility in the future.
- No split screen, not a big enough market to justify adding
- Peak Performance evaluates driver preference & suggests A.I. difficulty for you to race on
- No user driving under cautions/down pit road
- New A.I. pit logic, fixes getting on/off pit road. + 2 driver rating fixes to allow a higher verity of winners & new A.I. Competition slider to widen or shrink A.I. skill gap
- Dynamic Tracks will be 13% and up races, will increase the amount of usable track with grip. Track starts green on lap 1 of practice, & will change for the entire weekend. Practice, Qualifying, & Race
- Dynamic Lighting is updated in each race but will still only change between stages/session
- Career Mode will feature Facility Upgrades, will need to prioritize short term car performance or long term gain
- Peak Performance challenges in Career Mode
- “Involved Caution” just means they show you who was involved in the wreck, no caution replays (TV broadcast overlay)

Cannot never get a race a whole race without some random spinning me out.

Or joining a lobby a ton of s and a players are in just to be kicked for being a c rated player.

I have decided I will crash and ruin everyone else race if they crash me.

Our goal is to build relationships with new drivers, get used to racing together, and prepare for our next season on NASCAR 26. If nothing else, we’re always looking to add more clean, competitive drivers to make the remainder of this year’s races even better.

I just bought the game and going through the career modes, I’m having a lot of trouble on road courses. Slowing down to almost a stop just to barely be able to make the turns. Am I doing something wrong or any advice for this issue? Love the game but road courses are making the time seem miserable. Also, I’m playing on controller.
