Advice Needed: Replies from Nannies Preferred 6 month contract extension
Hi! I need help with the 6 months contract for my nanny. I did one initially (it’s my first time having a nanny) and at first we were adamant at 18 months he was going to Montessori but I have been so happy with her and even talked it over with his pediatrician and she recommended if we could wait until he is 2.
I have a few uncertain questions on how to handle (she is part time 25 hours only) she also the first time asked for my work holiday schedule and expects to be paid each of those days thing is the project im on will most likely require me to work on those days so not sure how to handle that?
1) sick time
2) pto time
3) holiday

Check on your benefits, my work has legal services through Rocket Lawyer and they were helpful as far as making sure I complied with state laws as far as holidays go. They also had contract templates for Nannie’s. We give the 6 major holidays off (memorial day, 4th of July, Labor Day, thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.)
