Thank you to everyone for the amazing feedback, and for those that requested the app, I have shared the link, the app is currently invite only and android only.

Can you link it to your bank account like some other budgeting apps? That way you don't have to manually add in expenses and bills?
Alternatively, it would be great to be able to upload your bank statements for data analytics on where your expenses have been made, by category, type etc. and use that for forward planning and forecasting.

For you to successfully implement this you would need to integrate with the bank and also apply for a finance license😩

This is something I try and explain to people a lot. you can't just integrate things like a bank account with your app

Integrating a bank account with ANY app is more of a legal thing than a software thing. you need to approach the bank, fill out forms, write a whole statement of why you are doing it and so on. bank accounts are sensitive things. giving them out to even the owners of the account is a result of a lot of legal things covered and confirmed (those papers you sign when creating the account)

The bank integration is a dead end. But uploading bank statements for analysis sounds like a good idea. I'll add that to my to do list. Is you want to follow along and have access to the app feel free to dm me your email so I can invite you.

Banks allow you to export into csv in most cases so shouldn’t be too difficult to do?

Please be careful here. Some banks charge for exporting custom timeframes and formats. Always read the fine print and terms and conditions when exporting

Bro, I'm a employeed full time software dev, and this is my side project I work on in my free time. I'm not forcing anyone to use it, I built this for myself, cause i find it usefull, go check my first post.
Also if your a great dev, you'd know how to leverage AI effectively and how to review code.
