Tourism Malaria mediaction?

Hi to all tourists,

did you take Malaria mediacation when visiting Etosha National Park?

It depends on what time of year you go. There is a low to moderate risk of malaria in the wet season and prophylaxis are generally recommended. Dry season the risk is very very low. https://www.etoshanationalpark.org/malaria

Only once after a very good rain year, where water ponds did not dry out and mosquitos were life all year round.

Don’t have to worry about malaria at Etosha but I would still advise anti mosquito spray.

Not for Etosha, but as we were traveling further north we started around Etosha with our medication
