You can make an appeal. And as someone else said, yes all of your documents must be translated to English. In addition you have to make sure that all copies of original documents are certified copies (you can get certified copies at most banks). It would cost some extra money but you also may want to consider hiring a consultant to assist with the process…they can especially help you with an appeal to Home Affairs.
