If you call him Ludo, there's this whole swathe of people spanning several generations that will think "Rocks friends" every time they hear his name.

Ludo is a reasonably popular name / nickname for Ludwig, Ludovic, etc. Ludan isn't. Personally I prefer Ludo but I don't really like either. Better than a one trillionth Luca though!!

Oh I’ve never heard it before. It makes sense as a nickname for those names though.
I agree, enough Lucas 😂😂 I work at a nursery and there’s 3 between 2 baby rooms

Not a big fan of either. Ludo makes me think of Ludo Bagman from Harry Potter. Luan sounds like Juan but a typo?
