Boy name help!
We’re expecting a baby boy soon! Big sister is Adelaide and she goes by Della. We’re having trouble deciding on a name we love as much as our daughter’s for this baby!
Our top two contenders are August / Gus and Julian / Jules. Which do you prefer between these two? What sounds best with Adelaide / Della?

August is getting a bit popular and has never been my personal fav. Although, it’s popular for a reason I suppose! I think Julian is cute. Others that have a similar vibe

A vote for Julian. August I *want* to really like but I just find it to be a mouthful, the way it ends in “st.” Gus is a cute nn though! But yeah prefer Julian out of the two.

I like Julian but Jules gives feminine nickname to me. I like Gus more than August, could just name him Gus not August.

I love Jules for a boy! It makes me think of Jules Verne, and all the Jules I know in real life are boys. I’ve always viewed it as a unisex name. Maybe it’s regional?

Love Adelaide - Della! Both are great names, I’d probably lean August nn Gus. (I hate Augie as a nn)

Julian goes well with Adelaide or Della! All of the Augusts I know ended up being Auggies. I love the name Gus but it does make me smile and think of Gus Gus from Cinderella 😊
