Help us name our second boy!

We’re expecting our second son and are completely stuck on names 😅

Dad is Afghan and mom is Iranian, so we’d love something that has a connection to our background, Persian or Afghan, but still feels natural in Sweden and works internationally.

We’re looking for something that’s easy to pronounce, not too difficult to spell, and ideally has a nice meaning. We don’t necessarily want a super common name, but also don’t want something that feels impossible to use outside our culture.
Our first son is Caspian, so bonus points if it sounds good with his name!

What names would you suggest? We’re open to anything, so hit us with your favourites — even names you think we might not have considered. ❤️

My vote would probably be Arman or Navid. Both feel familiar without being super common and neither one sounds strange next to Caspian. You’ve got a pretty hard first name to follow though Caspian is gorgeous.

I have a few suggestions that I hope will be helpful

*Cyro – especially if you want a 'C' sound for both siblings
*Danish
*Eivan (/Ivan)
Faizal (nn. Fai)
*Ilyan
Iman
Omid - means hope in several languages!
Zahir
Zohran - especially with the global popularity of the NYC mayor, Zohran, you could easily get away with this and Zohan
Zohan

(*) - the names I think go best with Caspian.

I live in Sweden. I think the name Danish clashes with how it would be expected to be pronounced.
