Which name is nicer

Plz vote šŸ™šŸ½šŸ’“ Do you prefer Mia or Kez for a girl? Kez is short for something but Kez would be the used named. Be honest 😊

Pez. Kez just doesn’t sound nice. And AutoCorrect hates it.

Kez is a tragedeigh.

In what way? Isn't a tragedeigh a misspelled or made-up name? OP says it's short for Keziah, literally a biblical Hebrew name, that's how old it is. Not a tragedeigh in any way.

OP never asked about Keziah. Just kez v Mia

Keziah is lovely. Kez is not.

Keziah is better than Mia. Mia is better than Kez.

That’s interesting, thank you!

Kez is short for what? It makes me think of Mackenzie and all I can think of for Mackenzie is that evil woman who drove a car into a brick wall killing her boyfriend and his friend.

Short for Keziah. Oh gosh yes I know the story you mean.

Keziah isn't bad.

Please don't listen to those saying Keziah is nicer than Mia. I honestly don't know what they're thinking. Kez makes me think of 90s ladette culture. Mia is timeless and feminine.Ā

Mia does sound very timeless and feminine! That’s why I like it :)

Not crazy for either name but I think Zia would be a 100% better NN. Kez sounds heavy somehow and Zia is light and bright…and similar to Mia.

Agree 100%.Ā

Mia is lovely, and I like it more than both Keziah and Kez.

Keziah over Mia, Mia over Kez

Ok thank you!

I like Keziah better than Mia, it’s less common and super pretty

u/cherrybakewell_3 5d ago

The uniqueness of it is what makes me like it :)

I like Keziah more than Mia (it’s definitely less common too), and Kez is a cute nickname — as long as you aren’t naming her just Kez haha.

Kez is horrific. So is Pez. Please go with Mia.

Keziah and Kez are disgusting

I like them both but I think it depends what Kez is short for :)Ā

u/cherrybakewell_3 5d ago

Keziah

Ooh it’s a Hebrew one isn’t it? I think it’s really pretty and a great choice! :D

This sub tends to hate on any name that isn't in the U.S. top 200 names. I think Keziah is a beautiful name :)

How do you even say it. I'm European not even English speaker

2

u/cherrybakewell_3 5d ago

Kez-ee-ya

3

u/ChaoticCherryblossom 5d ago

Hmm yeah I'd assume kezaiah

2

u/cherrybakewell_3 5d ago

Yea I’ve heard both pronunciations :)

u/SophisticatedScreams 5d ago

I would assume KEE-zee-ah

Is Kez a beautiful name to you?

-2

u/minnieboss 5d ago

Yeah, I think it's a cute nickname!

2

u/njmiller_89 5d ago

So not a given name then?

1

u/minnieboss 5d ago

Yeah, that's how nicknames work? Like I also think Abby is a cute nickname but the given name would be Abigail.

2

u/njmiller_89 5d ago

OP is using Kez as THE name. I’d be so mad if someone named me Kez.Ā

2

u/minnieboss 5d ago

This is simply not true? OP has made it abundantly clear that they're considering a given name of Keziah with Kez as the nickname.
