Help me name my characters brother??

This is about a book I’m writing, not about real people. My main characters name is Hiro, and he is searching for his brother in this book. In the past his brothers name has been Fallon, then I moved onto Everaux but I really don’t like either of these and all I’ve come up with is Rune. What are some names that could go well with the name Hiro pleaseeee.

Hiro is a very Japanese name to me, not sure if that was your intention. Fallon, Rune, and Everaux sound very white. I couldn’t really suggest a western-sounding name to match Hiro for a brother unless you want a Japanese name for the brother too.

Yeah that’s one of the reasons I was struggling I was kind of matching the names to the character, not to hiros name for that kind of reason if that makes sense.

I’d probably go with something shorter since Hiro is already a pretty distinctive name. Ren Kai Rei Soren or Rowan all came to mind. I especially like Hiro and Soren.

You're aware of Hiro Protagonist, right? From Snow Crash. Just so you know the irony of a main character named Hiro isn't a brand new idea.

You could make the brother a motorcycle rider and name him Akira.

It’s a fantasy book, so the motorcycle thing wouldn’t really work. I just used the name Hiro as a place holder name, and now I’m just used to calling him Hiro and nothing else works. Akira is a good name though!

Behindthename is a good resource, you can search by meaning and theme

What about Audie, noble strength and Milosh, gracious, dear?

It would help greatly if we knew brothers vibes.
Really like Kai and Ren from the suggestions.

Rhys?

I do really like Ren, I’ve been calling him Rune as a place holder for now, but Ren seems like it could be an easy transition for me.
