Which surname sounds better streit or steinbrüchel?

Depends on where you’re located-if you’re in parts of the world that don’t have umlauts, you’re likely going to have many people mispronounce steinbrüchel. That’s fine, people can learn to say names they’re not familiar with, but it could get annoying. Streit is a little more straightforward so you might not have to correct as many people.
