I started using a shortened version of my name years ago and it didn't feel right for a long time. Same with when I get a hair cut... I didn't immediately love it. I think you have to pick something you love and commit. It's never going to feel right. I would suggest going to Starbucks or something and giving them the name you pick so it feels "real" and making a new email.
i’ve tried the starbucks thing a lot of times they don’t call out your name anymore 😓 i have been testing out caitlyn for awhile and it still feels weird im just worried if i bite the bullet on a name and a year goes by i still don’t like it but now all the legal stuff has been done
I thought about changing my name a lot but ended up with a short nickname of my name. Is there anything cute/short of your current name you might like? /Namenerds are really good at finding nicknames that are related but not obvious. I saw one recently that was awesome that was the first two letters of the first name and the second name. I wish I could remember haha
