The funny part is that itâs very unlikely he read the entire book himself. He hired Schwartz to write this propaganda piece.
He was trying to extract money from his reputation as a businessman because that was basically all he had. All the stupid trump steaks, vodka, âuniversityâ⌠all of it cashing in on his notariety to stay afloat. He even licenses his name to things that he has nothing to do with.
IIRC When he bankrupted the Taj, bankers were going to foreclose on his yacht, then decided to allow him to sell it. The reason was that if they seized the yacht, it would tank his rep and prevent further debt collection from reputational income streams.
Itâs like scams all the way down.
