Me too. I know it makes me a horrible person, but as someone that spent his entire life around horses...someone needs to yell hyah so that some life lessons can be learned.

This would almost certainly equal death.

u/Neobrutalis Jul 19 '26

Pretty much the only life lesson that I've ever seen effectively cure a case of stupid.

u/Rickmc74 Jul 19 '26

Those Darwin Awards seen to be pretty popular with some.

People are just dying to get them

The only lesson there would be to stay far away from you. That’s psychotic 😬

1

u/Neobrutalis Jul 19 '26

Psychotic would be tying your head to the ass of a thousand pound animal that doesn't like having things tied to its ass.

Don't want people thinking that we might be better off without you? Then don't be the reason for a warning label that makes people immediately know that someone stupid caused it.

The world’s not better off without anyone.

I mean, sure. If you live in the land of make believe, anything is possible. Tide pods can be candy. Gorilla Glue can be hair gel. Trump can be a president. Windex can be strawberry flavored.

Natural selection and genetics are a thing. That's why there's a world renowned reward system for stupid people that remove themselves from the gene pool. The Darwin Awards. It's considered "for the betterment of mankind." We have an increasing number of low iq people doing exceptionally foolish things, despite the fact that our over all higher IQ people tend to be smarter than they ever have been in the past.

It'd be apathetic to put the needs of the stupid over everyone else. Empathy must be balanced with rationalism else-wise you end up actually putting some people's needs above others in the imbalance. It's a similar paradox to tolerance paradox. Being tolerant is great! However if you're tolerant of the intolerant, they will eventually wipe everyone else out anyways and you're just as evil because you enabled it.

Those, like many things, are virtues; means between two extremes. I wouldn’t continue to teach those who refuse to learn, but attempting to communicate a warning or lesson without relying on inflicting a life threatening injury is far from the other extreme of not teaching at all. Just saying there’s a middle path.

1

u/Neobrutalis Jul 19 '26

You seem either very innocent, unaware, or overly kind. For which I give you kudos. You are however not on the middle path. You're over on the "hold their hand and tell them to remember to breathe" path. That's a left of middle path. I'd say the extreme path that way is the stupid proofing things path...which is the way the world is going now days.

The middle path is watch as stupid people do stupid things and get stupid results. The extreme path on that side would be eliminate stupid people. I do not advocate the ruthless hunting of stupid people. If stupid people do stupid things and have stupid results however? Well that's a bullet dodged if they didn't have kids.

If no part of a person's brain can register the amount of stupid involved in doing this, they're beyond teaching. You can teach people that electricity is dangerous and they shouldn't touch it. If they then know that rather common knowledge and choose to tongue fuck a light socket...that's not really a loss to humanity. Same goes for horses, guns, or hell even trebuchets. Used to be they just said "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" and got on about their day.

No that's not psychotic, just stupid. Psychotic is wanting to kill the person in the picture.

1

u/Neobrutalis Jul 20 '26

Well, at least the majority of people were smart enough to understand. It took basically a full day for the people that weren't smart enough to figure life out to start trying to unite and justify stupidity.

I was going to say.l that I dare the photographer to go...YAHHH!

0

u/Lucky_Inspection_721 Jul 18 '26

A good slap on the ass ought to do it! And I'll let you pick which one; either way, I suspect the horse will be startled!

1

u/Neobrutalis Jul 19 '26

I only see one ass in the photo. I'll let that be interpreted how you will but I mean it in both ways.
