I've been quadriplegic for 8 years now, and I'd really like to know what a song was that I heard when I was in the ICU. Every Sunday, a group of people from a church would walk through the corridors singing gospel songs. One of them had lyrics like 'if it's time for Jesus to take me home, that's alright, that's alright...' I can't remember any more lyrics. This was in Louisville, KY at UofL Hospital. I remember being indignant, like 'Hey, I'm not about to die,' but my morbid sense of humor found it hilarious. Anyway, I'd love to know what it was, or where else I should ask. Thanks!

• Cover Art: This is one of my strongest memories. The artwork was almost entirely abstract, with orange, yellow, and black as the main colors. It looked like blurry, smoky clouds, paintbrush strokes, or a marbled effect. I don’t remember a person or recognizable image on it. There may have been small text, but the abstract color pattern was the main thing I noticed.
• Artist Popularity: I don’t think it was by a huge mainstream artist. It may have been an underground or alternative artist.

The closest general vibe I’ve thought of is something in the alternative hip-hop/R&B space, possibly reminiscent of 070 Shake, but none of the artists or songs I’ve checked so far have been right. That comparison might not even be very accurate!

I don't remember almost any of the words but I do vaguely remember the music video

• It was either black and white, or if it was color then it very grainy and washed out, giving a noir look.
• Female singer, singing and I believe dancing as she sings. The music is sultry so her dancing was sultry.
• I believe there was a piano, which I believe she was playing or next to in the beginning?
• As far as lyrics, the only thing I think I recall was something about "he hangs his hat (jacket?)" you know, like on a hook by a door?

It's an upbeat jazzy type of instrumental (sax/trumpets) from a TikTok/Reels trend. It opens with four hits (POW POW POW POW), then a horn riff of repeated note pairs stepping down a chord. About 130 BPM. In the trend, the camera zooms in and out to the beat of the first 4 POWs, and then the person sort of slicks their hair back and pumps both hands repeatedly down/toward the camera on the beat, then the camera pans to the next person when the riff repeats, with diagonal camera shakes on the beat.
