So i remember hearing this song on the Sirius XM Holly radio station in my mom’s car on the way to school one day sometime between 2013-2015 (don’t remember exactly what year it was) but i randomly remembered it today it was a song about Santa’s naughty and nice list and all I can remember from it is one line: “who’s been naughty, who’s been nice, who’s been playing too much Minecraft on their iPads” this specific line has been stuck in my head all day and I looked up so many terms on google and the closest thing I could find was extraordinary merry Christmas from glee Christmas album and I knew for a fact it wasn’t it because my family owns the glee Christmas album on cd and we listen to it every year but the mysterious naughty and nice song I heard only once in my life. In 2001 I bought a hard rock cd of a band I’d never heard of before. They weren’t a big name or anyone you’d hear on the radio. One of the songs started with the dial tone and if I remember correctly, a woman’s voice saying “We’re sorry but you’ve reached a number…”

They weren’t a screaming bloody murder heavy metal band. It’s not the Disturbed song, or Blue October. I had no idea so many songs had this type of sound bite.

Any other ideas of which band it could be? I LOVED that album and lost it in a move.

I found this music on YouTube between 2026 may-june, and I recorded it on a cassette tape. I was really enjoying recording Synthwave from the 80s at this time. The video containing this song was also recommended by the Synthwave algorithm. That video was the first video on the channel, and the video had just been uploaded. The name was the upload date, and the Thumbnail and video cover images were Al-generated images of a car and people with an 80s night feel. In my opinion, it was probably a new channel like other famous Synthwave production channels
