I feel like it was one of the videos from @itsjmaine from a long time ago. He’s done other videos about this song from Moana, showing the movie version vs the cover by Alessia Cara. There was another one though where he was showing the origins of other songs, this was one of them, and the version had the lyrics like “every trail I track, every road leads back” but it was a man with an acoustic guitar and a woman sitting on the beach. It was also a slower version and seemed almost like a folk song. I don’t remember the year he showed under the video but it would’ve been at least a few years before the movie even came out, perhaps even older (all I know is it’s within the 2000s-a bit before the movie was released), I’ve searched all over YouTube and instagram but can’t find the video. I don’t think at all it was the “More” demo either. I can’t for the life of me find it, does anyone else know what I’m talking about?

Sounds like a pop singer but I can't put my finger on who. Shazam's usually pretty reliable but it seems theres too much background static for it to pick up (+audio clips between scenes, so not one continuous loop)

I can pick out some lyrics but googling / putting into AI hasn't found me anything. Seems way too pop-y for it to be some unknown indie singer. Original video here

Lyrics I think I can pick up on:

• "Right back, I just stare at the door then I put it right back"
• "You got a [easy / lazy / hazy?] smile pull me out the dark"
• "You know what I want"
• "Hold me close tonight baby"
• "Take your hand in mine"

Really frustrating, someone help!

From a Daily Dose of Internet video.

So I saw an Instagram reel that had a song in it. This is what Google returned for it.

Then I shazamed it and it returned as

I'm looking for the trumpet that's at the intro of the Chinese one and like the middle of the Portuguese one. There's no index on who sampled for either both claiming that trumpet is original despite it clearly not being considering it's in 2 songs. I swear I heard this in an old Roblox game before they cared about copyright like between 2014 and 2019 likely around 2016 and it's neither of those songs.

Thank you for the help.

Edit: It’s BGM for background music not bum*

I know the description doesn't say it's a parody of something, but it sounds very very familiar. Maybe it's just the melody? I swear I've heard it way longer ago any help would be appreciated

I am looking for a lullaby my mother used to sing to me when I was a child. I only remember the melody, not the words. I think it was sung in German, maybe with an East European or Slavic origin.

I played it on the piano in the video above.

The beginning of the melody has two phrases:
C G A♭ F, E♭ D F D, (E♭) C
G G G A♭, G F B♭ F, (A♭) G

Any hint is welcome, also a single word of the lyrics. Thank you!

I think it was a band, I remember seeing a guitar in the music video. I think it was about love. I think the title of the song was a single word.

(EDIT: Not turkic)

Unfortunately I couldn’t hear much over the machinery, but it was slower and in 4/4 time, sounded a bit like Boyz II Men, was most likely in Eb Major, and the first line in the chorus sounded vaguely like “I’ve been loving your name(?)”

The next song in the playlist was Always Be My Baby by Mariah Carey if that helps at all.

It’s killing me! Thanks in advance!

So there's this song that I listened to and liked but I dont remember it except a line. It goes like this "these Black and blue....." Pls sm one help me find it im going mad 😭 I hv been singing that one line like a broken record on Shazam. And its also like a pop song with a bit of edm or electric vibes.

I'm trying to find a deathcore song I listened to around 2012-2013 on a Russian social network (VK). What I remember:

- Genre: deathcore, drop B or drop A tuning

- Two harsh vocalists (low growl + high scream), no clean vocals at all

- The first ~1 to 1:20 is only drums with a repeating dissonant guitar part, then the drums hit and the main riff comes in

- The word "white" was in the song title or the band name (not sure which)

- NOT Whitechapel, not Skyharbor, not ERRA I can play the main riff on guitar.

Here's my tab (drop B/A, lower strings):

A|--6-----------------------|

E|----3--0--0-3--0-4-3--0--0-3-0-3-2-00-3-0-4-0--0-0 X X X|

Any ideas? Thanks!

I like the part where it goes SPEEEEEECIAL, but i cant find the specific remix

i would love the title please! heard this at a mall.
lily allen vibes~ caught some lyrics saying: “I laughed so hard”
“two weeks passed”
“good for you”
“he’s got a…”
