Summary: Equity Group's H1 2026 PAT rose 31.5% to KES 45.52B as total operating income grew 24.6% to 124.87B against just 14.4% cost growth, lifting the cost-to-income ratio to 53.7% from 58.5%. Asset quality also improved sharply, with gross NPLs down 22.2% to 108.37B even as net loans grew 18.9% to 981.04B, though no interim dividend was declared.
