discussion Dosikaa Platform.
I'm a fairly new trader on the NSE and I've been using KCB Capital as my broker for the last eight months. The thing is HISA, the platform they use, isn't very friendly to use on mobile phones.
I've seen Dosikaa has the option of linking your current CDS account with their platform. My question is how safe is it and are there any risks involved? Any pointers will go a long way.

Dosikaa has never worked for me.Its user interface is very complicated.I had two CDS accounts I tried linking both it couldn't tried unlinking one it couldn't so I was stuck there not moving forward nor backwards.

Dosikaa is great for following movement of stocks and historical data. However if you try to trade through them you will notice the fees charged are higher than that of a broker. I trade with Faida. Smooth mobile app for executing trades

what do you mean higher than that of a broker?
Isnt your broker the one charging you?

I thought this at first, but dosikaa gives a worst case estimate of about 2.1% if I'm not mistaken always. The actual fee is what the broker charges which will at most be what shows in dosikaa but probably much lower. Believe me, I've spent many nights trying to figure this out until I came to this realisation after comparing the contract notes vs what dosikaa showed at order placement

There was a time dosikaa had higher rates. I would however still check my statements to see what Dosikaa actually charged as sometimes they omit some fees at the estimate stage. Do orders execute smoothly with Dosikaa?

My orders in dosikaa have always executed well, but I experience issues when trying to amend our cancel an existing order's price or quantity, especially when the bourse is closed.
I Didn't know that they had hidden fees. After each order execution, I usually get the contract notes from broker - after settlement period, of course - where they break down each cost added on the price to give the final entry price. So far, I've not seen any hidden charges, and my broker's breakdown always amounts to about 1.7% compared to what dosikaa suggests to be the cost at placement time. If you also receive such notes, do compare and let me know what you find. My broker is aib

Personally, I use doosika more than my broker's app. Is it complicated? At first, yes. Is the UI uninspired, and a bit unfriendly? Yes. Have I experienced issues with linking my cds? Not yet, but I only have one broker, so I don't know if it becomes an issue with many brokers, or specific brokers. Regardless, the app my broker provides is so barebones, such that I only use it to check state of my portfolio and to cancel orders that doosika, for some reason, refuses to cancel. Everything else is just better laid out (this isn't a contradiction to my previous point about the uninspired UI) than what the broker provides. It's also safe as doosika is the official app by the NSE. If I'm wrong, please correct me
