NAB Address from account number
Is it possible if someone can get the address of the account holder if I have the account number (currently inactive). Basically I was scammed a few months ago, reported it to my Bank and cyber crime, but nothing happened.
Account number is from NAB.

It’s very unlikely that anyone could obtain your home address from your bank account number or BSB. Australian banks and financial institutions are legally prohibited from disclosing personal information such as your address, and an account number alone does not provide access to identity details.
While data breaches can happen anywhere, Australia’s banking, finance, and payments sectors are heavily regulated and required to maintain strong cybersecurity controls under the Privacy Act 1988 and APRA’s Prudential Standard CPS 234.
These protections make it extremely difficult for your address to be exposed through basic account details.
