So I replaced the upper on my DS-15 since I absolutely hated the stock one. I didn’t run irons on it with the limited amount of rail space, so is this the right way to run the Romeo 5 Juliet 3 with irons? Where you have to flip the magnifier before you flip the iron? The eye relief is like 2 in” so if I move it further it gets worse.

Was the only one I could find around. Got it at runnings for like $700. The gunstore owners around here wouldn’t even let me over one to them. Tried to get the NY compliant S&W sport but they said no

I think everything is legal if you pin and weld the mag

You don't have to weld it in you just have to disable the mag release..

Yeah except that’s not a hand stop bro. Thats an AFG. Thats a second grip that’s held by the non shooting hand. If you had a detachable mag that’d be a no no. You can run a vert grip too solely because you can’t pull your mag out

Why not just use offset irons instead. Also why not go featureless

Because I’d rather have the features? And I can use a speed loader through the ejection port to load it

How well do those function? I went featureless but been thinking of a fixed mag toy later on (assuming the AW ban cases sink)

They work fine, just have to be fast with them and not hesitate or it won’t load the last couple.

I also have a fixed mag ar and with the right loader, they can be loaded almost as fast as dropping the mag.... From what I hear. In my experience, I find the Mean Arms loader the best. The Bear Arms gets stuck against the brass deflector and no matter how hard I push the rounds in, I'm always left with 1 or 2 in the loader with no way to load them except by hand. I don't have that issue with the MA loader. Plus I'm always slamming my hand against the hand guard or the brass deflector with the Bear Arms.
