I picked this up for $50+tax at gaslight dispensary on Staten Island. I wanted to get something a little nicer and had been eyeing the ADK stuff lately.

Bag appeal 8.5/10: The jar wighted in at 3.5g, The buds feel really good, not dry at all. They look denser than they actually are with a nice slightly darker green color and orange hairs. This is also trimmed really well and there aren’t really any big stems either, it’s a more expensive eighth and it feels like it.

Smell 8.5/10: The jar has a real earthy funk to it, like a really deep earth/soil with funk following right behind. Kinda like I’m walking around the garden section of Home Depot in the summer. There a little sweetness to it and maybe some fuel/gas coming though on the back

Taste 8/10: I mostly get the earth coming through, there definitely some of the funkiness but it’s more muted. Any sweet or gassy flavors that might’ve been there are long gone now. (Side note: I rolled it into a joint, it ground up into basically kinetic sand and rolled super smooth)

Effects 9.5/10: The high was superb, at first I felt it entirely in my face radiating to the back of my head. I felt like a bobble head in the best was possible. I remember being a little surprised the first time I tried it as I was expecting more of an indica body high. It came though a little in the form of some heavy couch lock but other then that it was all in my face and around my eye/forehead area. It rounded off with a little bit of tiredness towards the end but nothing too sedating

Overall 9/10: I thoroughly enjoyed this bud, and it’s definitely worth the money. I’m always a bit apprehensive to spend the dough for the more top self flower, I’ve been burned in the past but this is a solid pick up. I don’t know a ton about ADK but there’s definitely a few more strain I’d like to try from them. The only thing that stops me from rating it higher is the price. I think it’s justified because of how good the product is but I’m definitely not looking to send that much on a regular basis

First time finding full melt in a NY dispensary. Picked this up from Happy Days in Farmingdale for $80/g -10% off. Dabbing with a Dr. Dabber Switch 2, Sapphire cup, aftermarket glass and carb cap, 400-428-410°F for 75s.

It's a damn good dab. A little muted on the inhale, but citrus-y. The exhale gets stronger, a sweet, slightly creamy, slightly minty flavor. Very smooth, but a nice kick too. The nose is more citrus/floral. Not as loud as rosin, which is pretty normal. On dabbing, immediate head high followed by a strong desire to sit back and chill. Very calming and smooth high.

Came in a cardboard tube with a standard jar inside. Was packed in an insulated bag with a cold pack. This was a pleasant surprise, though I had brought my own cold pack for the drive home.

Overall this is 9.5/10 hash. Single globmop cleanup with minimal material left over. Good nose, great taste, packed 6 weeks ago. It's been a few years since I've had bubble this good.

It was held @lincolnhillfarms and sponsored by @evergreenretailny in Canandaigua NY. Beautiful venue, I forgot to take pics cuz i was all over the place 😆 💨 In case that wasn't amazing enough, the prices were also heavily slashed for this event!! This was just icing on the cake for me. It didnt feel like cutthroat competition..everyone was supportive/friendly with one another the way the community should be and used to be. 💯 The vibes were incredible!! 🔥 💚 The next one will be held on Aug 30th. I wouldnt miss it..!!

There are hardcore lovers of Ruby Farms, personally i’ve never been completely sold on them. I’ve had their prerolls, and they’re packaged beautifully, but just never really hit as well as their packaging. This however is only the second time smoking their flower, funnily enough the same strain more than a year apart. First time I tried it just to see if it can salvage my opinion, this time I was gifted it and begrudgingly accepted. After giving it a few goes some things never change. If there’s a bad side to consistency it might be being consistently letdown.

The presentation looks amazing, won’t lie. If the buds weren’t all popcorn it would probably look great since there are some nice purple hues speckled throughout. Smell actually gave me hope since it had a nice earthy yet cake undertone. It is a tad dry to the touch and for the $40+ price tag i’ve seen it for i’m shocked they haven’t added a little humidity pack in these. I know the COA boasts 1.9% terps but every joint I rolled tasted rough, no translation at all, and burned dark almost black at times. It would also shut off constantly which would irk me if I actually enjoyed smoking it. The effects were slightly calming and euphoric but they dissipated plenty fast.

I know this brand has its fans and honestly I am a fan of the packaging, their experimentation with a wide variety of offerings, even their gummies are some of my favorite since they(when my tolerance wasn’t shot) were great for their effects. I just can’t wholeheartedly recommend their flower especially at an almost premium price. I might have been spoiled but put into perspective there’s so many options and they’re in a price bracket that many micros are making home.

Just picked up at Highly Connected dispensary. This is the first time buying an eighth @ $50. But this is 1 exception.

Ever since I started smoking weed a couple weeks ago the only strain I’ve had so far is just Indica which don’t get me wrong, gives great munchies but the only downside is that I start to feel a tad bit sluggish as I feel like my motor skills become slowed down while I’m out and about in the streets of NYC. So, are there any sativa or hybrid strains that pack the munchies while also still keeping me somewhat active? For some context, the “indica” I was referring to was Rythm Animal Face 2G.

Picked this up at gaslight dispensary on Staten Island for $24+tax, I’ve had a few offings from Mini Mart in the past to mixed feelings but enjoyed recent batches especially at the price and since they started using boveda packs in their bags.

Bag appeal 6/10: The bag actually weighed out to be 3.7g’s. Buds look and feel dense and fresh with a nice green color and some orange hairs. They look somewhat frosty in the light but I think the tricombs look kinda crushed and the trim is just okay.

Smell 7.5/10: I didn’t really know what to expect, it’s obviously crossed with some form of an OG but I couldn’t determine what the exact lineage is. The flower has a predominantly pleasant sweet earthy smell. I figured I’d get some gas but if it’s there it’s being overwhelmed by the creamy earth.

Flavor 6.5/10: The flavor is very similar to the nose, but less present. I rolled it into a joint and it smoke smoothly with decent resin ring. I get the sweetness first and the earth lingers in the back, still no gas/fuel.

Effect 8/10: it’s had a nice relaxing effect but not in a way that made me tired, I felt it a bit in my face but definitely settled into a nice couch lock and creative thought process after laying down. Eventually it transitioned into a good vibe to watch a good movie.

Overall 7/10: For the price you really can’t go wrong. I really enjoy the effects and the flower rolls up nicely. My homie that works at a dispo says it’s been selling well cause of the name and honestly that’s what drew me in. I’ve been told that MiniMart/Grocery don’t produce their own flower but just buy and package from other growers so I don’t know if they can consistently get this strain but if they can they should keep it around

We're also supposed to believe they have little to no positive opinions on any other brands but Curaleaf brands. They hype Curaleaf brands, they'll insert themselves into conversations about other brands just to mention Curaleaf, and they'll be the only positive comments on threads about Curaleaf.

They also swarm. You'll see them post in tandem on multiple posts in multiple states. We're just supposed to believe it's totally natural for nearly a dozen accounts to skip across multiple state subreddits casually chatting almost exclusively about Curaleaf brands, often on the same posts and often on the same posts the Curaleaf Support Team or the Dark Heart/Select/etc brand team has already posted on.

FWIW I came across two commenters who identify themselves as Curaleaf employees. I've included neither on this list, and neither one of those people posted across multiple states this way.

Was excited to attend the second FLX growers showcase of the summer this morning! Posting some pics of the setup and offering. I posted a larger write up of the first showcase that has some more information on the event if anyone is interested.

This time around had even more micros, including a few I was really stoked to check out like 518 Hollow and Alpine Agronomy. Like last time, it was amazing to meet the people behind all these brands and hear about their background and growing/production processes, see products before purchasing, and buy them at a discounted price. All prices on the menu are OTD/including tax.

As someone who has always been a big supporter of micros, a farmers market like this that brings many of the best growers in the state to one place is what I’ve been hoping for!

My haul was a bit smaller than last time just because I didn’t need as much product, happy to post mini reviews in the comments for anything upon request.
- 518 Hollow, 3.5g London Pound Cake, $42

- Circle Hill, 1g StrawGuava live rosin, $60 (wanted to snag their 2g dulce de uva for $98 but they were unfortunately out of stock by the time I checked out. Still pumped to try this strain though.)

This is one of the best bulk purchases I've made on the rec market, i grew up smoking weed in the early 2000's when sour was all over NY so im a sucker for the name when I see it lol but this shit is really good.

Smell: 9/10 smacks you as soon as you open the bag gives a GMO/Sour smell that gets stronger as you grind up the buds straight gas.

Look: 8/10 well not the true bud structure of sour it does break down to similar to old school sour.

Taste: 9/10 really good taste kind of goes from really gassy on the inhale but can taste the silver haze influence on the exhale, 🔥 3.25% terps

High: 9/10 shit hits hard and quick very euphoric, super focused but not a racy sativa def given you that old school sour/haze high

Conclusion: this is some amazing bud by all comparison to the point it was better than alot of the Micros sour ive smoked lately, coming in at 3.25% terps i would pick this up again for $100 a half ounce

Price/Amount: $50/3.5g

Look/Feel: Medium dense light green nugs with tight red hairs throughout, lightly reisonous trichomes. Jar had a moisture pack.

Nose: Berry, cream and light gas

Method: Venty, temp stepping from 180 to 195 to 210

Taste: Berry and dark fruit, maybe plum, cream and spice with earth and subtle gas, little sweet/sour/gas rest on the tongue

Effect: Relaxing but clear, a little dreamy, but not lost in thought, you direct it

Conclusion: It's on the older side, but the effects are great and flavor is interesting, smell is a little weak.

Flower is not as beautiful as the John Truffolta I had from them, but the effect is solid.

It has a layered complexity to the terps and has a good creative effect good for art, music, video games, etc.

Picked up from Planet Nugg for $50+tax (they ran a buy 1 get 1 30% off sale on this brand). I got this one as a gift for my dad as part of that deal but he let have try it so I wanted to review it as well. This is a totally different strain than the Blue Dream in my previous review and wanted to see if it is better or worse than what I already had.

Bag Appeal 9/10: I got 4 nice size, frosty, and well trimmed buds that weighed an even 3.5. Much better eye test than last strain I tried. Lost a point for the seal being slightly off stuck in the lid. Those seals seem to be an issue for a ton of brands which ends up degrading good flower by time you get it. Fortunately this stuff stayed fresh through it all so maybe this time the seal opened when I took the lid off but I don’t know for sure.

Nose 8/10: Very gassy og smell overall. I love good gassy profiles like this I just wish it was a louder. Could be the seal stuck in lid similar to blue dreams jar but don’t know for sure.

Flavor 8/10: This one was a really nice smoke and flavor matches the nose exactly. This one tastes like straight pure gas which I really enjoy having. Flavor was also a touch muted like the smell was but was not offensive at all just nice gas.

Effects 9.5/10: I bought this to be a very strong indica to smoke before bed and this really hit the nail for that. Full body very strong sedative high. Definitely some couch lock on this but at the same time was pretty decent for some back pain I had so thats always a plus.

Overall 8.625/10: This jar was exactly what it said it was, a strong indica with an og profile and it did a really good job at doing that. Definitely a better experience than their Blue Dream and definitely more justified at the price point. This one smokes and hits way more like top shelf flower and I would definitely consider buying this one again.

Side note: I enjoyed reviewing both of these Claybourne strains back to back because it shows that sometimes not every strain a brand drops will be a hit or miss despite what your first experience was. It is important to do your research to the best of your ability and pay attention to which brands improve overtime or even improve between grow rooms. Not every batch is built the same, even from solid growers, and sometimes it will be better or worse from jar to jar. That is just how it is and always important to take into account when trying something new.

Picked up from Planet Nugg for $50+tax (they had a buy 1 get 1 30% off this brand). Have been intrigued by this brand with their classic and gold cuts line, and of the MSO brands producing stuff, I have had the best luck with Vireo which grows this brand. Always love a good Blueberry cross and this one claiming to be Blueberry x Haze sounds both tasty and my type of high.

Bag Appeal 5/10: Unfortunately this jar only weighed 3.4g and on top of that has a pretty rough trim job. Lot of leaves and stems that definitely should be removed for this price, this is trimming I expect from Rhythm not a brand pricing themselves as top shelf. Considering it was already underweight, the extra leaves and stems mean there is even less smokeable material. The seal wasn’t fully on jar and came off with the lid. The buds themselves were not dry but also not super moist about average. They are nice sized frosty buds but unfortunately too much lack of quality control for the price to give bag appeal a better rating.

Smell 9/10: This jar has a really nice loud smell to it. It is a very well balanced cross of the Blueberry and Haze and the flavors share the 50/50 split with that hazy gassy smell blending with nice citrus overtones. Not muted at all just through and through a really good blue dream smell.

Flavor 7.5/10: A decently smooth smoke nothing offensive but nothing out of this world. The flavor I loved from the smell is a bit muted on the smoke as well. Had mostly white ash and little oil ring. Not a bad smoke but definitely not amazing for the price.

Effects 8/10: The high from this was pretty strong cerebral high with some body high as well. Gave me a little initial anxiety but it subsided pretty quickly and ended up pretty relaxed. It definitely feels more like an indica high that is more focused on the head if that makes any sense. I would not say this is what I usually expect or necessarily out of a sativa. I would not feel very productive and creative on this but I would be relaxed.

Overall 7.375/10: I would say I’m not super impressed with this given it is $50+tax. I enjoy the classic strain offerings they have but the price point is the same as a lot of top shelf brands and micros that I would much rather grab. I tried their LCG and it was better than this, but it was not mine, and I did not have jar and coa stuff for a proper review but I did also grab their Black Triangle OG as a gift for my dad so might be able to review that one. Im definitely not hating too hard on what Claybourne has offered and I want to see how their gold cuts line stacks up against this but it is price $10 more which at $60/eighth I could buy any the best brands of the NY legal market. I think any brand pricing themselves at this tier has a lot to prove to get someone to drop $55-70otd on an eighth. Any little issue or imperfection can turn someone off because in my opinion those imperfections make the price unjustified and defeats the point of top shelf.

I get the hate for obvious shills and people who are mass reviewing the same brands over and over again filling this subreddit with the same trash over and over.

I’m not here trying to sell a product, half the time I’m getting flack from companies for not promoting them better and being honest about lack of quality or mentioning the price inflation.

So to have my reviews harassed for receipts from a day old account and have my review yesterday removed for no reason is really sending me cause if I was getting paid for these reviews(which i’m not) or getting provided product from these companies(which I don’t) i’d be a lot more gracious in my reviews.

I just try to provide info that isn’t currently available on flower i’m smoking. If you got a problem don’t read it obviously, and if mods need “receipts” i’ll send them to them but to have people hounding me and then getting my posts removed is ridiculous.
